On behalf of Friends of Hawaii Charities, Inc. and theSony Open in Hawaii PGA Tour tournament, I want to thank you for participating as “The Auctioneer” at the 2018 Sony Open Draw Party in January. Through your efforts, forty-one thousand dollars was raised for Hawaii’s charities this year as three PGA TOUR professional selections were auctioned!
Since we began this auction three years ago at the Sony Open Draw Party, over eighty-seven thousand dollars ($87,000) has been raised for Friends of Hawaii Charities! These funds raised are directed to support Hawaii programs that benefit the children, women, elderly, and impoverished. This year alone, the funds raised resulted in a thirty-six percent (36%) increase over 2017. This success is due largely to your amazing talent as auctioneer to create the excitement and rally the audience to participate in the auction.

I have hired Joe Teipel a few times and attended many charity fund-raisers here in Hawaii featuring a live auction where he was the auctioneer. I was impressed with his professionalism, support team and ability to increase the average bids, number of competing bidders and overall increased net profit.
